"Need to Know" Stuff

 

Session Fee
Session fees cover our costs in taking your portraits and processing fee. The session fee must be paid in full at the time of scheduling in order to hold the session date.

Scheduling
Each session is unique and just one may not be enough for you. Any combination of sessions may be scheduled to create the best variety of poses. We need to know this at the time your appointment is made in order to set aside the appropriate amount of time. Don't wait until the last minute! Our schedule is booked often for weeks in advance. If you would like your session later on, you still need to make your appointment now.

Rescheduling
We need to know in advance if you are unable to make your appointment so we may schedule someone else. Session fees are non-refundable without prior notice of cancellation.

Tips
Bring make-up, hair supplies, clothing, jewelry, and any props. Shoes are also seen. Match shoes to your outfits.

Glass glare can be a problem, and sometimes glasses may distort your eye shape. If possible have your eye doctor remove the lenses from your glasses or borrow a pair of empty frames.

Avoid changing to a new hairstyle at least two weeks prior to your session. The photographer is not a hair stylist. It is your responsibility to know if your hair is in place.

All packages include blemish retouching.

Do not take excessive sun days before your session.

Pets are welcome to your photo session. Please let us know if you are planning to bring your pet with you.

If you would like to have friends in the picture, we will discuss a time for them to show up during the photo session to avoid distractions.

Outdoor sessions are normally scheduled from May to November. Outdoor sessions will be rescheduled in the event of rain, high winds, or extreme cold.

Parents are welcome to your photo session. Please discuss this with your parents prior to your photo session.
